We are a group of Bangladeshi nature photographers, researchers and nature lovers dedicated to the conservation of nature and wildlife in Bangladesh. Ours is a non-profitable, non-political and non-governmental organization. The word “Prakriti” in Bengali means Nature. , a career diplomat and former ambassador of Bangladesh and an expert nature photographer, established The on 1 January 2003. It is being registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau, Government of Bangladesh. The Foundation, headquartered in Dhaka, will have operation all over Bangladesh.
The Prakriti Foundation will use the medium of photography and research in order to underscore the importance of nature in Bangladesh and identify the conservation priorities for the country. For better understanding of the problem, it also intends to coordinate with similar organizations at home and in other parts of the world and work more effectively toward the goal of conservation.
